Meghann Powell has been working as an illustrator and graphic designer for over ten years.  Inspired by her love for the great University of Michigan, Meghann’s illustrations capture the tradition, the spirit, and the diversity that is the Michigan difference.  Every week during football season, Meghann posts her work on Instagram: @MeghannPowelIillustration.

Meghann's artwork is officially licensed and can be purchased at The M Den and on her website, GoBlueArt.com. Meghann’s work was recently featured on Fox’s 100,000 Cameras: Ohio State vs. Michigan.  She was a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in 2017.  Meghann is on The ChadTough Foundation Champions for Change Gala committee and is a board member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Greater Phoenix. She is also a proud partner of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan's Go Blue Rewards program.

Before Meghann was an illustrator, she was a costume designer.  She created designs for a dozen University Productions at the University of Michigan and was an associate resident costume designer at Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, Michigan.  She also was the dress consultant for the University of Michigan Musical Theatre Department senior showcase in New York City.

Meghann is a proud alumna of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance with a B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Production.  She met her husband while performing with the University Choir during her freshman year.  They had their dream wedding at the Michigan League six years later.  Meghann’s husband is an alumnus of both the University’s Musical Theatre Department and the Law School.

Meghann and her husband live in Tempe, Arizona with their two young children.  Meghann is on the school board of her children's preschool. She is on the Site Council of her neighborhood elementary school, as well as, the co-chair of the school’s Art Masterpiece Program.
